Warren Pershing, son of General John J. Pershing, meets with the sculptor Felix de Weldon, longtime Club member and art consultant, in his studio in NE Washington, DC, in 1975. Behind them is the equestrian statue of General Pershing, reportedly intended for la Place des Estats-Unis, Paris. This studio had also been the headquarters for Pierre L’Enfant while he was designing the city of Washington. There is more to include on this object label.
