A reception to honor the portrait unveiling of Admiral Joseph James “Jocko” Clark (1893-1971), USN, the first Native American to graduate from the United States Naval Academy and the only Native American to achieve four-star rank. Included comments by Commander Michael Beidler (USN, Retired), President, Capital City Cherokee Leadership Council and Honorable Chuck Hoskin, Chief of Staff to the Principal Chief of the Cherokee Nation, and Member of the Oklahoma House of Representatives.
