A reception to unveil the portrait of General Carl E. Mundy (1934-2014), USMC, gift of the family and classmates of Carl Mundy. Included comments by General Joseph Dunford, Chairman, Joint Chiefs of Staff and General Al Grey, former Commandant of the Marine Corps.
Donors commissioned Presidential portrait artist Mark Carder to paint the Mundy Portrait and Gold Leaf Studios to produce the custom frame. Carder also painted the official portrait of General Mundy, which hangs in the Commandant’s House in Washington, D.C.
